Title: South End Reflections
Cat’s artworks were inspired by a lifetime of global travel, sailing and diving in the big blue. A thirst for learning about the world shaped her life and also her art practice. The Cocos Islands became a special place for Cat and her family to call home. She loved being out on the water exploring the atoll with her boys whom she treasured and immersing herself in the underwater world. This series of works captures the essence of life on the islands, seafaring vessels past and present and some magic local marine life. Cat was a true caretaker of the seas and to carry on her legacy as one of he founding members of Tangaroa Blue, proceeds from postcard sales will go to the foundation to fund their work dedicated to the removal and prevention of marine debris and the protection of our oceans.
