Shelly Beach Clean-up and Online AMDI Training Session, Warrnambool, VIC

When: Saturday 25th (Beach Clean-up) and Sunday 26th (Online AMDI Training) of February
Where: Meet at Thunder Point carpark, gathering around the rock walls near the track entrance

Spend a meaningful weekend cleaning-up the beautiful Shelly Beach on Saturday and then taking part in an online AMDI training session where you’ll learnhow to identify marine debris and how to record data on what debris you collect.
Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle.

Registered volunteers from the Shelly Beach clean on the Saturday will receive a zoom link for an interactive AMDI online training session on Sunday.
