Are you looking for a way to be part of practical solutions for our environment? Join us and help clean-up the beautiful Shelly Beach in Warrnambool, Victoria.
The major debris items of concern continue to be cotton bud sticks, white nurdles (plastic resin pellets) and hard plastic remnants of all sizes, so we will spend around 2 hours trying to remove these items from this beach.
Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle.
To register or for any questions, please email georgia@tangaroablue.org. Thank you for dedicating your energy towards protecting our oceans, and we look forward to seeing you out on the beach!

Please ensure that you check the latest QLD Government COVID requirements – https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19. If you feel unwell, please don’t attend and stay at home, we’ll catch you at a future event.
