ReefClean Source Reduction Workshop – Litter in Public Spaces

Join ReefClean and learn how you can help prevent public spaces litter in your community.
What is a Source Reduction Plan?
If all we do is clean up, that’s all we’ll ever do. This Source Reduction Plan workshop invites community members, local businesses, school representatives and government representatives to assist in the development of a plan that stops litter at its source. Everyone is welcome and you don’t have to have experience in this field, just an interest in protecting our local environment and the Great Barrier Reef.
Please register to join at https://reefcleansourcereduction.eventbrite.com.au.
The link will lead you to a general registration page for several different workshops we are holding online. The Litter in Public Spaces workshop will be held on Monday, May 11th, so make sure you register for that date if that’s the workshop you want to join. You’re welcome to attend more than one, but you’ll have to register separately for each. Links to join will be sent once you’ve registered. For inquiries, please email info@tangaroablue.org.
This SRP workshop will be facilitated by:
– Heidi Taylor – Tangaroa Blue Foundation CEO
– Tom Godfrey is a communications specialist who has delivered media and social media strategies for some of Australia’s most iconic brands. He has also been a regular commenter on The Today Show, Sunrise and the nightly news.
– James Hodgson – Advertising & brand design specialist. Has rebranded and created international campaigns for The Greens, Nike, British Airways, Foxtel and the NSW Government.
ReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust.
