ReefClean – Monitoring and Marine Debris Collection, Dickson’s Inlet, Port Douglas, QLD
Join ReefClean for a beach monitoring and marine debris collection session at Dickson’s Inlet in Port Douglas with Tangaroa Blue Foundation.
All marine debris will be analysed, and the data uploaded to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database, a national marine debris Database that is used to identify the source of the debris and reduce litter in the environment.
This is a single-use plastic free event. Bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sun-smart clothing, and closed-in shoes.
No prior experience is necessary, our friendly team leaders will teach you everything that you need to know on the day.
Meet the team at 8:30 at the corner of Port St and Wharf St, just down from the Coral Beach Lodge (YHA). The event finishes around 12:30.
