ReefClean: Flying Fish Point Beach Monitoring Clean-up

Join ReefClean and help prevent marine debris from entering the Great Barrier Reef! During this monitoring event, you’ll be helping clean our beautiful beaches whilst gathering important information for the Australian Marine Debris InitiativeDatabase.

No prior experience is necessary. Our friendly team leaders will teach you everything you need to know on the day.

Where:Meet at the northern section of the beach (1.6km along Ella Bay Road) access area with picnic table
When: Friday 8th March, 2024 | 1pm
What to wear:Enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing.
What to bring:Sun/rain protection and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended.) We try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All other equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.
