Join a small team for a clean-up on the beautiful Woody Island, as part of the ReefClean project! As part of this event you’ll be helping clean our beautiful beaches whilst also gathering important information for the Australian Marine Debris Initiative.

Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.

A simple lunch will be provided so please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements when you register for this event.

There will be a fair bit of jumping on and off boats so you will need reasonably good fitness and agility for this one.

Register your interest early by emailing johanna@tangaroablue.org as places are extremely limited.
We would like to acknowledge the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we will be meeting for this event.

ReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust. Thank you also to GBR Legacy, the Low Isles caretakers and QuickSilver for their support to make this event happen!
