Looking for a way to be part of practical solutions for our environment?

Join us for an engaging marine debris workshop focused on marine conservation, hosted by Tangaroa Blue Foundation and the Callum and Jake Robinson Foundation.

The workshop will kick off with approximately one hour dedicated to a meet-and-greet and a presentation that highlights the mission and projects of both foundations. Following the presentations, attendees will participate in a hands-on demonstration lasting about 45 minutes, where we’ll work together on transect layout design, debris collection, and sorting materials into categories right at beautiful Waubs Beach.

What shall I bring?

Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.
