WA Beach Clean-up

Calling all ocean lovers – the 2019 WA Beach Clean-up event registration is now open!
Now in its 15th year, this special event in the Tangaroa Blue Foundation calendar is open for registration and seeking your assistance.
If you are a keen citizen scientist, a school or community group, part of a family or workplace team or just love the ocean and want to help out, we need you for the WA Beach Clean-up!
In 2018, more than one thousand people from across the Western Australian community spent over 2,500 volunteer hours at 94 clean-up events and scoured more than 161 km of coastline. A total of 58,097 items, weighing in at 5,114 kg were removed and audited by volunteers, giving a boost to our marine ecosystems!
Can you help us make 2019 our biggest event ever?
It costs nothing to participate and all materials, volunteer insurance, and logistical support is provided.
