Shelly Beach Weekly Clean-up (June) Warrnambool, VIC

Join Tangaroa Blue Foundation for this weekly monitoring event at Shelly Beach, Warrnambool. You’ll be helping to clean-up our beautiful beaches whilst gathering important information for the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database.

No prior experience is necessary, and you can do as many clean-ups as you like – no need to commit to every week. Our friendly team leaders will teach you everything you need to know on the day.

This Month’s Dates:

• 9:00 AM – Tuesday 3rd June
• 9:00 AM – Tuesday 10th June
• 9:00 AM – Tuesday 17th June
• 9:00 AM – Tuesday 24th June

Where: Meet at Thunder Point Lookout and we will walk together to the beach (around 15 minutes)

What to wear: Enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing.

What to bring: Sun/rain protection and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended.) We try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All other equipment will be provided.
