About Project Brupeg

Brupeg is a community funded expedition vessel with volunteer crew that donates their time & skills to projects and research around the world. They are partnering with Tangaroa Blue Foundation to help clean up remote parts of the Great Barrier Reef and help with our source reduction initiatives.

Brupeg is an ex fishing trawler that had sunk and was brought back to life and purpose rebuilt with the help of volunteers, small donor support and a global online YouTube community, who care about the marine environment.

Jess & Damien and the crew from Brupeg, including Alena Olsen (2024 Olympic medalist and environmental ambassador) will be joining us for our 2025 Kaya-Biji Clean-up!

ReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and delivered by Tangaroa Blue Foundation.
