ReefClean – Cairns Source Reduction Plan Cigarette Butt Survey

As part of Cairns’ Cigarette Butt Source Reduction Plan project, we’ll be holding a cigarette butt survey to identify hot spots and location possibilities for a cigarette butt bin. The designes for the bin will be provided and the group will choose an option. The group will also talk to local businesses to inform them of the project.
Meet at Cairns Marina at 10am.
Please bring gloves, sun-safe clothing, a hat, a reusable water bottle and wear enclosed shoes. If you’d like to join the group, please email events@tangaroablue.org.
