Kaya-biji (Snapper Island) Beach Clean-up

Join us for a clean-up at the beautiful Kaya-biji (Snapper Island), with the Jabalbina Rangers!
Where: Kaya-biji (Snapper Island), Cape Kimberley
When: Tuesday 1st November, 2022: 9:30am-3pm
To Register: Please email hannah@tangaroablue.org

Following the collection of debris, volunteers will assist in the sorting so that the data can be entered into the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database.

Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes that can get wet (for getting into and out of the boat, to protect against coral cuts), bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended).

We try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided. Lunch will also be provided.

Please email hannah@tangaroablue.org to register your interest.

We would like to acknowledge the Eastern Kuku-Yalanji People, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we will be meeting for this event, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

ReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and delivered by the Tangaroa Blue Foundation.
