As part of Tangaroa Blue’s week long clean-up mission on Christmas Island, we are also delivering a community presentation night.

You will be able to learn more on our new international initiative, Project ReCon from WA Project Coordinator, Casey Woodward as well as hear from Tangaroa Blue volunteer Alanah Campbell and her exciting work on marine debris impacts on the Abrolhos Islands.

Thank you so much to the Christmas Island District Highschool for providing a venue for us this year, we really appreciate it.

There will also be an opportunity to take part in a project led by Sea Country Solutions which aims to document how people use and value the nearshore marine environment, and the ecological, social and cultural significance of areas within the newly established Christmas Island Marine Park.
