Clean-Ups

Help remove what’s already out there and protect our environment and wildlife

WHY JOIN A CLEAN-UP?

Removing rubbish from the environment not only visually restores the natural state but also mitigates the toxic effects of plastic degrading in the environment and the risk of harm to humans and animals who make contact with the debris.

Tangaroa Blue Foundation’s volunteers and Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) partners have cleaned beaches and waterways at over 4,800 sites around Australia and removed over 1,900 tonnes of rubbish.

Our events range from sites cleaned up every month since 2004 to massive multi-day adventures in some of Australia’s most remote and polluted areas.

Take a look at our volunteering opportunities or get in touch for more information.
