Ocean Plastic Products – are they credible or just greenwashing?

Tangaroa Blue as an organisation has been receiving lots of enquiries as to the credibility of products claiming to be made from ocean plastic. Today, with help from the Environmental Defenders Office, we have submitted a complaint about misleading ocean plastic labelling to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Busting Ghost Nets Haunting the Great Barrier Reef

Jack Johnson Non-Profit Partner

We were incredibly excited to team up with Jack Johnson on his Meet the Moonlight Tour of Australia and New Zealand as an All At Once Non-Profit Partner. 14-Day Voyage to Clean-up Coral Sea

The team comprising of the GMY Rangers, Tangaroa Blue, Blue Planet Marine and Parks Australia staff departed for the Coral Sea aboard R.V Infamis in November.  The purpose of the 14-day voyage was to collect, remove and analyse marine debris accumulated in the Diamond Islets and Lihou Reef within the Coral Sea Marine Park (CSMP) and assist in restoring the islands of the Park to their natural state. Sustainable Bubble Tea Project Successfully Implemented in Melbourne

Over the past weeks, Project Coordinator Jane has been visiting bubble tea stores to deliver free posters and chat with store managers about the Sustainable Bubble Tea Initiative. 10 Years Supporting Bay Ok Day

13-year run for the Darwin Harbour Clean-up

The annual Darwin Harbour Clean-up occurred in October for the 13th year, successfully removing 1.78 tonnes of debris from the harbour. A total of 17 sites around the harbour were thoroughly cleaned from the Wagait Beach to Casuarina, with the Larrakia Nation Rangers playing an integral part in the organisation of the event and overseeing the many groups cleaning on these sites. Great Barrier Reef Clean-up at Cape Palmerston

2 huge days, 23 volunteers, 10km covered along the beautiful Cape Palmerston Beach and 840kg of harmful debris was removed for this Great Barrier Reef Clean-up event. What a community!!!! Carpe Diem Education is an American organisation that provides gap year programs to students wanting to explore the world while learning more about themselves.
