Location: We’re looking for Project Coordinators based in WA, NSW and Cairns (work from home).

Tangaroa Blue’s (TBF’s) purpose is to minimise the impact of marine debris on marine and human life across fresh or saltwater country through community engagement and science.
The Project Officer role is to:
- Support the Project Manager and/or CEO in administrative and logistical matters for the successful delivery of TBF projects.
- Provide expertise around the research, development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of special TBF projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the resourcing of TBF projects.
- Collaborate with TBF management to scope potential new projects and funding.
- Collaborate with relevant TBF staff and stakeholders to deliver special projects.
- Document and complete action items from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation material to support stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure all PPE and equipment is available and provided to project workers and volunteers.
- Provide administrative support where necessary especially around the execution of key project deliverables.
- Ensure that the project adheres to and documents all necessary processes and information.
- Protect TBF’s reputation at all times.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure project delays are not encountered.
- Support the calendar for fulfilling project deliverables.
Essential requirements:
- A relevant degree or above, or equivalent experience in a specialized field.
3 years plus experience in a Project Management role. - Current workplace approved First Aid and CPR Certificate (if on ground work is required).
- Current Blue Card or Working with Children Check (if on ground work is required).
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Federal and State Government policies.
- Knowledge of and experience in working with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Australian South Sea Islander, and other culturally diverse groups.
