Are you a Citizen Scientist who loves movies?
Can you commit to volunteering 2 – 10 hours over the next couple of weeks to watching movies and taking notes as you watch the film?
Do you have access to movies online or via streaming services such as Netflix?
If you’ve answered yes to all of the above, we’d love to invite you to take part in our Ditch the Flick Auditing Hollywood project. Through this project, the top ten films of each decade, from the 1970’s – 2010’s, will be audited for cigarette events. Volunteers will watch the films, and gather the necessary data as outlined in a provided template.
If you’re interested in taking part in this initial round of audits, please register no later than June 27th. The first round of movie assignments will be confirmed by June 30th, with final audit submissions due July 31st, 2021. Register by emailing melissa@tangaroablue.org
We are so excited about this project and can’t wait to see what the data might reveal. This could be the first step in getting Hollywood to Ditch the Flick!
