ReefClean: Shelly Cove Monitoring Clean-up, Cape Pallarenda, QLD
Join ReefClean and help prevent marine debris from entering the Great Barrier Reef! During this monitoring event, you’ll be helping clean our beautiful beaches whilst gathering important information for the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database. No prior experience is necessary. Our friendly team leaders will teach you everything you need to know on the day.
Where: Meet at Old Quarantine Station in the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park car park, Cape Pallarenda
When: Friday 6th December 2024 | 6am-10am
What to wear: Enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing
What to bring: Sun/rain protection and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All other equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.
