A massive thank you to the 2646+ volunteers who spared their time to help protect the Great Barrier Reef from marine debris.
73 clean-up groups submitted data to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database, helping us learn what marine debris accumulates where. This data will be used to build a national picture of marine debris and contribute to source reduction plans and policy change on a regional and national scale!
