DESCRIPTION:Do you want to help protect Far North Queensland’s stunning beaches and marine life?\nMake waves of change and join us for our ReefClean community clean-up in Cape Kimberley, on the traditional lands of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people in the beautiful Daintree. Along with other volunteers, you can make a practical contribution to the health of the marine and coastal environment of Far North Queensland.\nWhat: ReefClean Cape Kimberley Community Clean-up\nWhen: Thursday 30th October | 10:00 am-3:00 pm\nTo Register: Please email gabby@tangaroablue.org and jessica@tangaroablue.org ( mailto:jessica@tangaroablue.org ) to register. Registration is essential. Let Gabby know your meeting point, and if you have any dietary requirements, as we provide lunch on the day.\nWhere – Meeting Points:\n\nDaintree River Ferry Terminal – Southside: 9:30 am (if you require a ferry pass)\nCape Kimberley car park: 10:00 am\n\nLimited spaces for transport with us from Cairns/Port Douglas are available. Get in touch with Gabby to secure a spot.\nVolunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.\nReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and delivered by Tangaroa Blue Foundation.\n
