DESCRIPTION:\nNanum Wungthim Land & Sea Rangers invite you to the Pennefather Beach Clean-up 2025!\nWhen: 29th September – 10th October (if travelling with us from Cairns 27th Sept – 12th October).\nWhere: Pennefather Beach (departing from Cairns)\nTo register or for more information: Email jessica@tangaroablue.org\nJoin us for an adventurous multi-day clean-up trip to Pennefather Beach, Cape York.\n\n\nPennefather Coast stretches south some 50km to Duyfken Point, but with many hands, makes light work!\nAnd the reward…A combination of camping, bonfires, fishing and Ranger activities as part of the Indigenous Rangers Coastal Clean-Up & Nestor Programs.\n\n\nBuilding stronger community relationships through the COASTAL CLEAN-UP PROGRAM promoting awareness on the impacts of GHOSTNETS & MARINE DEBRIS on our beautiful beaches.\n\n\n\n———-\n\n\n\n\nThis project has received funding support from the Queensland Government’s Community Sustainability Action grant program. Please note that with the closure of beach access due to the “Turtle Nesting Season” conditions will still apply, however you will still get to enjoy all our beautiful Western Cape has to offer.\n\n\n
