DESCRIPTION:Join Tangaroa Blue Foundation for this weekly monitoring event at Shelly Beach, Warrnambool. You’ll be helping to clean-up our beautiful beaches whilst gathering important information for the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database.\nNo prior experience is necessary, and you can do as many clean-ups as you like – no need to commit to every week. Our friendly team leaders will teach you everything you need to know on the day.\nThis Month’s Dates:\n\n9:00 AM – Tuesday 6th May\n9:00 AM – Tuesday 13th May\n9:00 AM – Tuesday 20th May\n9:00 AM – Tuesday 27th May\n\n\nRegistration is essential: If you would like to join us, please register by emailing bella.vanvugt@tangaroablue.org ( mailto:bella.vanvugt@tangaroablue.org )\nWhere: Meet at Thunder Point Lookout and we will walk together to the beach (around 15 minutes)\nWhat to wear: Enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing.\nWhat to bring: Sun/rain protection and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended.) We try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle.
