DESCRIPTION:Join us in identifying local beach clean-up sites for marine debris monitoring on Eyre Peninsula.\nWHEN: 11am – 4pm | Thursday 10th April, 2025\nWHERE: Redcliff Campsite Hall, 789 Trinity Haven Rd, Tumby Bay SA 5605\nThe session will start with a presentation from Tangaroa Blue Foundation before participants learn how to set up monitoring transects and enter debris data into the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database.\nYour involvement in this initiative will help:\n\nEstablish regular monitoring to track and reduce marine debris on the Eyre Peninsula.\nStrengthen data collection efforts and contribute valuable insights the national Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Network.\nEnsure the continued health of our local beaches and marine ecosystems.\n\nYOUR VOICE MATTERS\nWe would love for you to join us, share your insights, and help shape this important environmental effort.
