DESCRIPTION:**The Baku (Cape Kimberley) Clean-up has been rearranged for Thursday 24th April**\nJoin us for our ReefClean clean-up in Cape Kimberley on traditional lands of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people in the beautiful Daintree.\nAlong with other volunteers, you can make a practical contribution to the health of the marine and coastal environment of Far North Queensland.\nWhen: Thursday 24th April, 2025\nMeeting Points:\n\nDaintree River Ferry Terminal – Southside: 9:30am (if you require a ferry pass)\nCape Kimberley car park: 10:00am\n\nLimited spaces for transport with us from Cairns/Port Douglas are available, get in touch with Lucy to secure a spot\nRegistrations is essential: Please email lucy@tangaroablue.org\nVolunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.\nWe will provide you with a light lunch, so let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.\nReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and delivered by Tangaroa Blue Foundation.\n
