DESCRIPTION:Join us to discuss the environmental stewardship of local beaches.\nOn Friday, March 7th, at Slipway Sheds, we’ll bring together beachcombers, environmental groups, and passionate community members to discuss the future of beach clean-up monitoring at Lakes Entrance.\nWhen: 11am – 1 pm, Friday March 7th 2025\nWhere: Slipway Sheds, 470 Esplanade, Lakes Entrance 3909\nThe goal is to identify beach clean-up sites that can be registered as official monitoring locations for marine debris. We would love for you to join us, share your insights, and help shape this important environmental effort.\nPURPOSE\nYour involvement in this initiative will help:\n\nEstablish regular monitoring to track and reduce marine debris at Lakes Entrance.\nStrengthen data collection efforts and contribute valuable insights to the national Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Network.\nEnsure the continued health of our local beaches and marine ecosystems.\n\nYour voice matters.
