DESCRIPTION:Join us in lending a hand to help clean-up Far North Queensland, who has faced unprecedented challenges following recent cyclone-related flooding events.\nWhat: Newell Beach Clean-up\nWhere: Meet at Newell Beach Esplanade Park, 19 Marine Parade (opposite Newell beach takeaway) (back up date will be Wednesday the 24th of January)\nWhen: Wednesday 17th January, 8am\nTo Register: Please email lucy@tangaroablue.org to register your interest.\nNo transfers from Cairns due to road closure \nVolunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of\ndrinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended)\nWe try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle.\nAll equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.\nPlease email lucy@tangaroablue.orgto register your interest.
