DESCRIPTION:This event is by ReefClean, Capricornia Catchments and Tangaroa Blue\nWhat: Ross Creek Lagoon Monitoring Clean-up – Yeppoon\nWhen: 2 June 2023 (Time TBC)\nWhere: Meet on the Main Beach of Yeppoon at the mouth of Ross Creek\nRegistration: Contact Capricornia Catchments at admin@capcatchments.org.au or (07) 4921 0573.\nJoin Capricornia Catchments for an afternoon at the beach for ReefClean monitoring and marine debris collection in Yeppoon. All marine debris collected will be analysed and the data will be uploaded to the AMDI Database.\nPlease note that registration is essential so please register via Eventbrite or contact Capricornia Catchments via email at admin@capcatchments.org.au or phone (07) 4921 0573.\nNo prior experience is necessary. Our friendly team leaders will teach you everything that you need to know on the day.\nVolunteers will need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). As we try to ensure that all events are free from single-use plastic, please bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.\n——————————\nThis is a COVID Safe Event – we do require volunteers to register.
