DESCRIPTION:When: Saturday 25th (Beach Clean-up) and Sunday 26th (Online AMDI Training) of February\nWhere: Meet at Thunder Point carpark, gathering around the rock walls near the track entrance\nRegister: Please contact georgia@tangaroablue.org\nSpend a meaningful weekend cleaning-up the beautiful Shelly Beach on Saturday and then taking part in an online AMDI training session where you’ll learnhow to identify marine debris and how to record data on what debris you collect.\nVolunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended). We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle.\nRegistered volunteers from the Shelly Beach clean on the Saturday will receive a zoom link for an interactive AMDI online training session on Sunday.\nTo register or for any questions, please email georgia@tangaroablue.org.\nThank you for dedicating your energy towards protecting our oceans, and we look forward to seeing you out on the beach!\n———————————————–\nPlease note this is a COVID Safe Event – we do require volunteers to register by emailing info@tangaroablue.org.
