SUMMARY:Marine Debris Clean-up – Cooloola & K’Gari
DESCRIPTION:Our team are mobilising to the Wide Bay / Fraser Coast region to assist with ongoing flood debris clean-up. Our team will be in Cooloola from 19- 21 September and K’Gari from 22- 25 September 2022.\nVolunteering opportunities are available every day to collect the debris from beaches and prevent it from further harming the local environment.\nDaily meeting points to be published closer to the event.\nREGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL.\nVolunteers with 4WD are preferred (but still contact if you don’t have one) – you must wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and a reusable water bottle.
