DESCRIPTION:Join Capricornia Catchments for a Beach Clean Up at Causeway Lake!\nWhen:Monday 11th October 2021 at 8am\nWe’re undertaking a source reduction initiative aimed at fishing tackle litter.\nMeet at Eastern Causeway Lake toilet block at 8am.\nAmazing and talented artists Rebecca and Martin have been hard at work, completing a mural on the Eastern toilet block at Causeway Lake. The artwork highlights the beauty and importance of land-ocean connected systems and the natural life they support.\nWe have already completed baseline clean ups, we now need help to gather data to determine if the artwork has helped to reduce litter in the area.\nThere will be another clean-up event in the near future, held on the 25th of October.\nIf you would like to get involved with either of these clean-ups or would like more information, please contact jwhiting@capcatchments.org.au\n
