This coral cay is home to over 120 native plant species and colourful bird life and is part of the Land and Sea Country of the Guru-Gulu Gungandji Aboriginal people.\nWith the support of our friends at Green Island Resort and Great Adventures, we can once again offer our volunteers free ferry transfers from Cairns Marina to the island.\nWe will meet at 7.45am sharp outside the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns and return in the afternoon around 3.30pm.\nPlease wear appropriate sun-safe clothing, closed in shoes or reef shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and snacks to get you through the morning.\nAfter the clean-up and debris auditing, there will be some time for a snorkel, so pack your snorkelling gear. Please note that a stinger suit is mandatory if you want to jump in the water.\n***Please note that all spaces for this event are full.
