For more information on the event, please see https://www.facebook.com/events/343656146911504\nNew Beginnings is a charitable non-profit organisation that has developed a Marine Conservation Program. The organisation’s focus is on engaging children in environmental activities, increasing their awareness about problems such as marine debris, climate change and a variety of related topics.\nJoin them at Burleigh Heads on the 16th of January for their Youth Marine Conservation Event. Adults also welcome. The event will include a clean-up of a selected area of Burleigh Beach. Participants are then invited to join their resident Marine Biologist in exploring the wonders of the Burleigh Rockpools.\nPlease wear enclosed shoes and be aware that you may get wet during the activity!\nAfter the clean-up they will be entering data into the Tangaroa Blue Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database, as their aim is also to stop rubbish at the source.\nPlease note that as this event is not organised by Tangaroa Blue, any changes in dates and times are out of our control and we ask that you use the contact information provided above to keep in touch with the organisers, New Beginnings, directly.\n
