DESCRIPTION:All Australian Marine Debris Initiative Partners are invited to join us for an online Christmas Party to share your marine debris stories.\nIt’s been a challenging year, and we’d love to take some time out to celebrate your efforts in tackling marine debris. Join us online, Friday, Dec. 18th, for our Zoom Christmas Party.\nTimes are – 3:30 pm WA time | 5:30 pm QLD time | 6:30 pm NSW/VIC/ACT/TAS | 6 pm SA\nRegistrations are essential via Eventbrite: https://amdichristmasparty.eventbrite.com.au\nDuring the party, we’d love the chance to get to know you and your organisations a little better.\nTo that end, we ask that you: \nEmail any photos you’d like to share with us to be included in a slideshow – this can be photos of your group at an event, the weirdest item you found, or most memorable AMDI moment from 2020. When you email the image(s), make sure you tell us where it was taken and the organisation name. Email to carmen@tangaroablue.org.\nYour group should prepare a 2-3 min introduction where you tell us your name, which organisation you’re with, where you’re located, and a little bit about your efforts in the marine debris space. This can be stories about something funny that happened on a clean-up, a successful event you may have had, or if you found something really weird. We want to hear about it.\nWe encourage everyone to put on their most festive virtual backgrounds and Christmas attire is welcome, though not required. Drinks are also optional.\nOnce you register, you will receive the links to join the Zoom. We hope to see you there!\n
