DESCRIPTION:The Peel-Harvey Catchment Council invites you to attend their mini-festival celebrating the beautiful Peel-Yalgorup Ramsar Wetland.\nPHCC is excited to be hosting the first Wetlands Weekender this October, a three-day festival celebrating our beautiful Peel-Yalgorup Ramsar Wetland and the amazing wildlife that inhabits these magnificent waterways. October is a significant time for our wetland as it aligns with the beginning of the migratory bird season. Every year migratory birds make the epic journey from the from as far away as the Arctic Circle to Australia, a staggering distance of 12,500 km, where they will spend the summer months before making the return trip.\nThe festival is happening from 11-13th of October.
